Hermes

A private, single-user automation agent.

Hermes is a personal agent run by one individual on their own server. It is not a product, not a service offered to others, and has no users beyond its operator. This page exists because Google requires a public home page, privacy policy, and terms of service for any application that requests OAuth access to Google account data.

What it does

Hermes manages a Google Drive folder on behalf of its operator: it creates folders, uploads documents it generates, reads files placed there, and creates or edits Google Docs and Sheets. It authenticates to a single dedicated Google account using OAuth 2.0.

Access it requests

• Google Drive — read and write files
• Google Docs — create and edit documents
• Google Sheets — create and edit spreadsheets
• Google Calendar — read and write events
• Google Contacts — read only

It does not request access to Gmail.
