Terms of service

Hermes — effective 8 September 2026

1. Scope

Hermes is a private automation agent operated by one individual for their own personal use. It is not offered to the public, and no account can be created. These terms govern the operator's own use of the software.

2. Permitted use

Hermes may be used only by its operator, only with Google accounts that operator controls, and only in a manner consistent with the Google API Services User Data Policy and Google's Terms of Service.

3. No warranty

The software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement. Automated actions may create, modify, or delete files; the operator is solely responsible for reviewing them.

4. Limitation of liability

In no event shall the operator or any contributor be liable for any claim, damages, or other liability arising from, out of, or in connection with the software or its use.

5. Availability and changes

There is no service-level commitment. The agent may be stopped, altered, or removed at any time without notice. These terms may be updated; the effective date above reflects the current version.
