Privacy policy
Hermes — effective 8 September 2026
Hermes is a private automation agent operated by a single individual for their own use. It has no other users, collects nothing from visitors to this website, and shares no data with anyone.
What data is accessed
When its operator authorizes it, Hermes accesses data in one Google account they control: files and folders in Google Drive, the contents of Google Docs and Sheets it creates or is pointed at, Google Calendar events, and read-only contact records. It accesses this data only to carry out tasks its operator explicitly asks it to perform.
What data is stored, and where
- An OAuth 2.0 refresh token, stored in a file readable only by the operator's account on a single private server.
- Files the operator asks Hermes to create, download, or upload, kept on that same server for as long as the task requires.
No data is stored anywhere else. There is no database, no analytics, no logging service, and no backup to third-party storage.
What data is shared
None. Google account data accessed by Hermes is never sold, transferred, or disclosed to any third party. It is not used to train any model, and it is not used for advertising.
Google API Services User Data Policy
Hermes' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Retention and deletion
The operator can revoke Hermes' access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, which immediately invalidates the stored token. Deleting the token file removes the only stored credential. Any downloaded files are deleted on request.
